PAST EVENT

Artist Dan Daw sits down with Arts Access Victoria’s Caroline Bowditch and Kath Duncan to discuss radical access in the arts.

After having spent a lifetime being an inspiration to others, queer disabled performance-maker Dan Daw is finally seizing the moment to inspire himself.

Ahead of performing at RISING with The Dan Daw Show, Daw joins Arts Access Victoria CEO and AD Caroline Bowditch and artist, activist and raconteur Kath Duncan to discuss radical access in the arts.

d/Deaf and Disabled artists are vital contributors to arts and culture, with unique perspectives on lived experiences that challenge and redefine aesthetics. But even still, d/Deaf and Disabled artists earn less than half the income of their non-disabled colleagues. Radical Access seeks to close that gap and have real impact on the lives and careers of all independent artists, artworkers and audiences
