Experience
Internationally acclaimed theatre-maker David Woods (Ridiculusmus, Back to Back Theatre, Sydney Dance Company, Malthouse Theatre) brings together an alliance of Naarm, Victorian, Cantonese, Syrian, Bundjalung, American, Yemeni, Greek, Gamilaraay, British, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Korean, Ethiopian, Somalian, Congolese and Aotearoa—Pākehā (settler) and Māori collaborators to debunk pomp and power for RISING.
Shut down by the pandemic in 2021, the work has been reconceived to squelch within the confines of a decommissioned power station and former corporate headquarters: the Former Richmond Power Station.
